Dead Snow – Kill Me Before the Snow Melts
I gotta say, when I first head about this movie, I think I did a cartwheel sitting down. It’s one thing to have regular zombies, but Nazi zombies? I was sold. Hardcore. Give me two copies, I said. Hell, give me three. I was sure to be blown away. How wrong was I. Dead Snow tells the story of a group of medical students who travel to some distant cabin in the woods to drink lots of beer and have lots of sex. Dead Snow Now Available on Netflix Streaming
For those of you with a hankering to see Nazi zombies sliced into deli meat a la chainsaw, you’ll be happy to know that the Norwegian film is now available on Netflix’s instant streaming service. This may be a moot point for some being it seems like every zombie fan I know has managed to brave through war ravaged wastelands to squeeze into closet size theaters with chickens running amock to catch sight of this rather creative feature. Before going home yesterday, I received an email from the corporate big brains advising employees that can work from home should work from home during the upcoming “Snowpocalypse 2: The Revenge”. It was a difficult choice for me requiring hours of thoughtful contemplation before I arrived at the conclusion that yes … I would spend the day in just my underwear slouching on the couch while dreaming of some place tropical yet considerate to my Irish complexion. Dead Snow DVD Details Released
For all you Dead Snow fans or those of you who are looking to see it in your own house (that would be me), Fearnet has just reported some of the details about the upcoming DVD rental. Evidently, the folks over at Fearnet were not too happy with the promotional material on the box. Some poor schmoe who works Entertainment Weekly considers Dead Snow to have a place in the top twenty five zombie movies of all time. I don’t have a problem with such a statement because I have to see the movie, but Fearnet decided to writeup a list of twenty five other zombie films that do a better job which makes for a good viewing list. … Read entire article »
