Dead Set – Episode One, Part Three
Things go from bad to worse with the production when their live feed is replaced with an innocent message, asking viewers to “please stand by”. That’s when the zombies attack. Almost everyone in the station gets a good munching. These aren’t your typical eat until full type undead, but rather they attack each person like they were visiting a buffet. It’s all about small pieces so they can sample everyone in the building. A lone production assistant barricades herself in an office while the production director manages to find shelter in a bathroom, using a wheelchair bound man as bait. Sad? Dead Set – Episode One, Part Two
Tensions mount inside the house as well as outside of it as the production ramps up for the elimination selection. As the big moment approaches, members of the crew notice their phones have ceased to function because of a downed network. A breaking news event that threatens to destroy their ratings, leaving everyone in a state of high anxiety. Elsewhere, the limousine driver who was shepherding some talent to the production fights for his life as copious amounts of blood gush from a nasty wound on his neck.
