About Brian Douglas Moakley
Brian Douglas Moakley is a writer who lives in the comfy little New England town. When not working on the A World on Fire series, Brian can be either be found building web sites for Fortune 500 companies or digging through heaps of rotting zombie news to post on his blog.
His story “Lunch Hour” was published in “Best of 2006″ anthology produced by Scars.tv. Another story, “A Hole Revealed” was published in The Storyteller in 2007 which was distributed in over sixteen countries. Brian studied creative writing under award winning authors Perry Glasser and David Crouse.
Prior to his fiction writing, Brian wrote and directed an eighty minute independent feature film, titled The Final Cut which was featured in the 2nd Annual Rhode Island International film Festival. He worked in Los Angeles as a camera assistant on several short films and later served as a reader for Reader Digest’s annual screenwriter competition.
Brian lives with his beautiful wife, Lizzie, his beyond cute daughter, Fiora, two mischief prone dogs, and a cat that has no fear.
