Zombie Queen Kimberly just wrote to me via the website, letting loose the word that Seattle is once again up to its old zombie shenanigans. I gotta give Kimberly a thumbs up (*whimper*Pittsburgh should be the official world zombie capital*whimper*) because her event is awesome.

Aptly titled ZomBCon … this is a zombie’s lover convention featuring guests such as Romero, Max Brooks, and a whole bunch of zombie loving content producers. Even the esteemed Zombie Research Society will be making an appearance to discuss the realities of zombies.

A three day pass will set you back sixty bucks, or if you really want to give yourself the works, be prepared to hand over a grand which will garner you a hotel room, a VIP pass, and an free injection of the zombie virus, personally injected by Romero himself, followed by beheading by Max Brooks. Well, not really, but pretty close.

There’s gonna be a ton of people here showing films, talking books, and yes, there will even be a zombie prom. That’s right, meet the man/woman of your dreams with your brains spilling out of your head.

The event is being held over Halloween weekend, so book your flights now. I’ll drop more info on this convention as I have it. And of course, if any of you attend, you will have to drop me the skinny. As for myself, I’d love to be there and talk corpses, but I’m actually in Boston that weekend for a film screening. Not just any screening. But a terrible screening. Still … I can’t wait to see those prom pictures!
