If you just haven’t heard enough about the ever popular Pride and Predjudice and Zombies book, you’ll be happy to know that not only is it going to be a full featured movie, but it will now be a video game. At first look, I wanted to smash my head through my monitor, but on a second look, it makes me just want to break my fingers instead.

Instead of being a fully featured stand alone game, this looks to be a iPhone app which will probably cost somewhere south of ten bucks. In short, this is the equivalent of an advertisement for a flash game.

I know I sound I really annoyed but I want you to know that I’m not all hate toward Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I thought it was a fun quirky idea, mashing up a classic with a good old fashioned zombie apocalypse, and sure, it managed to capture lightning in a bottle but it was an oddity for sure. It was a wonderful car wreck on the side of the road which at the end of the day didn’t appeal to zombie lovers or literary fans and now I’m just tired of hearing about it. The delightful quirkiness of it has been bludgeoned out of it by the marketing club which wants to hammer every single cent from the book.

That said, I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about it in the future.
