Yahoo Answers Takes on the Zombie Apocalypse
I’ve never quite understood the subtleties and mysteries of Yahoo answers. I guess it’s something about answering questions for points which, er, raises you in level so you can become the uber answerer thus earning you first in line at the local car wash. Or something.
Well, someone asked a pretty interesting question. Is zombie meat really edible in the upcoming zombie apocalypse. If it is, well, that solves a lot of problems with the whole gathering of food problem. Granted, your local zombie won’t taste like a fine T-Bone steak, but it would fill your belly.
The answers are across the board with some comparing the dead meat to ice cream and others debating if the meat would taste like chicken. Some people do try to the answer the question, equating the meat to be diseased like mad cow disease. Personally, I can’t imagine myself getting sick from it which is why I would have my friend try it first. Then after a period of subsequent meals and a plentiful observation, I might consider dabbling in the new food source. Well, maybe not but I wouldn’t tell that to my friend. After all, the more zombie meat he eats, the more canned food for me ;)
So what do you think? Is zombie meat infectious? Would you try some yourself?
Is it ok to eat zombie meat? (au.answers.yahoo.com <- new window)

I wouldn’t eat it. Goes against my morality (And morality, humanity, country, family, self represent my order of precedence)
I wouldn’t eat rotting cow so why rotting human?
I wouldn’t eat zombie meat ugh! I always thought that eating zombie meat would transfer the infection to you..
Too close to human meat, even if you didn’t get infected. But really, if a bite means infection, I have to imagine that eating the meat would also mean infection. The infection would have to travel from the site of infection to the brain, so it would be logical that all of the zombies tissues/organs/etc would also be infected.
