I don’t know anything about Empire Magazine except for the fact that they have recently announced their top three horrible movies of all time. What they really mean is top three horrible movies produced by Hollwood studios with major distribution because I have seen far worse movies than these. Being a zombie fan and by extension, a horror fan, I have seen such bad movies, to quote Ernie Hudson from Ghostbusters, that the “shit will turn you white”.

I’d say the worse movie I’ve eve seen (and this is thanks to Mystery Science 3K) is Manos: Hands of Fate. To the uninitiated, to get the full effect of this movie, all you need to do is stick your head in a blender, switch on the liquefy, and jump into a tub. It is that bad. Back when I was in high school and Blockbuster was actually trying to be a decent store, my local franchise had a section titled, Le Bad Cinema. Me and my buddies used to rent at least a couple of movies from the section once a week. 976-Evil, The Abomination, and countless others that defied any sense of reason. They make Empire’s list look like amateur night.
