You’ll have to excuse the off-posting today. For what feels like the hundredth time this winter, I’ve managed to contact another stomach flu. Thankfully it’s not as pointed as my last encounter, but it did manage to keep me home for the day. I swear, I think I’ve taken a least a week off this winter for sick days alone. It’s been a bad winter.

Well enough of stomach pains and onto stomach churning. I just found this over at Living Dead Media. Before there was Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, there was E’Gads Zombies which looks to do what Ms. Portman aims to do, but I’m guessing with a lot more zombie eating people action.

The trailer looks great. I just adore the general looks of unease on all the actors as the bloodied zombies draw closer to them. It’s not your typical zombie fear reaction, but more like finding a fingernail in your soup. There’s both revulsion and horror tightly bound by good manners and civility. I half expected one of them to say, “My god, take you and your rotting knickers, and please dispose of yourself in the compost heap. We are having tea, my good man.”

No word at when this will be released outside of this year. I’ll make sure to post more about it as it comes down the pipe.
