Here’s a story that maybe of interest to both zombie lovers and comic lovers alike. Geek website Topless Robot has managed to compile a list of its top fifteen comic book characters that are both (un)dead and kick ass. Their research is pretty expansive which seems to cover a great many different comics. If you are comic book lover and looking for some new blood, this is definitely a great place to start.

Marvel Zombies, Kid Eternity, and even Dracula makes an appearance on the list although there are two notable absences. The first one being Death herself. Back in the early nineties, Vertigo released a comic about Death. Death wasn’t some pasty faced dude in a black robe, but a goth chick with a large ankh. I remember loving the series although I can’t remember a thing about it today. The other missing dude is Eric Draven, otherwise known as The Crow. Forgetting him is like forgetting Santa in a list of characters pertaining to Christmas.
