Killing Zombies to the Beat
The title of this blog entry says it all: “Because everything’s better with zombie”. Isn’t that the truth> Think how much better those baby or wedding showers would be if you added a horde of flesh eating zombies into the mix.
This new IPod game looks to be adding zombies to the rhythm genre. If you are a fan of Rock Band or Guitar Hero and wished you could kill zombies while you hammered out some rock ballads, look no further than Zombeat. The idea of the game is to hit the bars in beat with the music. Each correct note causes zombie killer Zeke to fire his gun. Miss too many notes and Zeke is zombie chow.
There looks to be an assortment of power-ups, various weapons used to kill zombies, and from the looks of the screenshot, lots and lots of blood. This looks like a fun game if you are on the market for an IPod game. Going for three bucks, this looks like a solid impulse purchase. If someone has played this, let me know what you think.
