Here’s a little something that’s making its way through the Twitter-sphere. It’s a Star Trek t-shirt with a red shirted zombie looking brains. Underneath is the simple headline, “He’s Undead, Jim”. The writeup itself is pretty funny:

There are a lot of ways to die if you’re a red shirt. You can be shot by a poisonous plant, step on an exploding rock, be struck by lightning, get whacked by a native with a big stick, choke on a dikironium cloud, or, our personal favorite, be beamed down to a planet that’s not actually there and get sucked into space, never to be seen again. But it’s an entirely different matter when Bones says, “He’s undead, Jim.” That’s way worse than dead, and the entire galaxy could be at risk! Be sure to double tap with your phaser

I’m a big of the old restaurant Star Trek. A customer chokes on his food whereby Kirk says, “Bones, that man is choking.” McCoy replies, “JIm, for god sakes, I’m a doctor, not a – oh”. The moment ends with Spock giving the customer a Vulcan neck pitch which makes the man spit up the food. Great stuff if you can find it online.
