I managed to get only an hours worth of life in me after the bite. That might not sound like a lot of time, but I find that it is plenty of time to make sure I cover up the wound and pretend like nothing happened. Of course, I’d have to spend some time whistling while making polite conversation. Once I started to really die, I would sneak out of the room, not telling anyone (of course). My last act on this world would be putting on bib.
