Some time ago, I wrote about a little web app that constructed a fake city, then ran a zombie simulation on it. It was pretty cool to watch all these small dots changes colors as the zombies infected the entire city.

Well, a new game company has taken this concept to the next level. Instead of a city composed of large black blocks, the developers chose to use an actual map of downtown Washington DC. Instead of dots, the zombies are animated, and oh my, there is blood.

This looks to be an tech demonstration of an upcoming game. The facebook page describes it as a real time strategy game which could be really fun to mobilize your troops against the horde. In any case, I’ll any post new updates as I get them.
