Zombies Invade Leeds Train Station
Imagine working a full hard day only to step off the subway and be devoured by the restless dead. This actually happened (minus the devouring bit) at Leeds station in London this past weekend. There evidently was film festival and a bunch of zombies decided to attend. No one knows what caused the outbreak, but if you’re interested in discovering the answer, there are a bunch animated corpses still wandering the blood spattered halls with the answer congealed in their rotting veins.
From the article:
Weekend travellers and early morning shoppers came face-to-face with the undead this weekend an army of Zombies invaded Leeds train station.
The army of darkness travelled to Leeds from across the Northern Rail network to enjoy a special horror movie celebration called Day of the Dead – being staged as part of the Leeds International Film Festival.
Sounds like it was a cool experience.

Small bit of pedantry; Leeds is about 200 miles from London…
But Day of the Dead is cracking. Even better, there’s a Night of the Dead on tomorrow (Friday 13th) all night long at Hyde Park Picture House (old Edwardian cinema still with gas lighting, great atmosphere to the place).
