The Book of Zombie
All I can say is … wow. What looks to be a Lifetime movie of the week turns into a gore filled zombie slasher fest. It looks to be a zomedy about a couple of passing Mormons who just might have unleashed a plague of the walking dead. I couldn’t really tell from the trailer, and the site itself has no synopsis. The filmmakers call this a low budget production, but you can tell a lot of love was put into this. The lighting is great and the sound quality (the number one killer in low budget productions) is spot on. The film is slated to be completed this year. Hopefully we’ll see something soon. I’ll let you know as I have it.
UPDATE: There actually is a synopsis. It was on the, er, front page of the site. Oops. Here’s what it has to say:
A small, sleepy Utah town gets an undead wake-up call when all of the townspeople of Mormon faith suddenly transform into flesh-eating ghouls! Now, a group of “non-believers” unaffected by the mysterious epidemic must band together to survive the night and answer the burning question: How do you kill a Mormon zombie?
