What the hell is this site?

Zombies!!!!I can imagine those are the first words that go through your head the moment you arrived at this site. Usually, when I arrive at sites with a big question mark hanging overhead, I take a quick look around, then hit the back button.

Don’t leave yet … here’s the story and I hope you like it.

This site is all about zombies in all their incarnations through popular culture. Zombies are my favorite “monster”. And here’s why … they are slow. Dimwitted. They are easily avoided and they can be killed with relative ease, but put those zombies en masse and you find yourself in a pretty dangerous situation. I’ll go into detail about some of the assumptions in this blog, as well as some of my own suggestions for the genre.

But the real reason for this site is not to share my likes and dislikes with the world, but rather to document the production of my trilogy of books aptly titled, “A Word on Fire”. My goal is to produce high quality audio recordings of the book as it is being completed so that you can download each part and get intertwined in my own personal zombie apocalypse.

The story is about a young teenager named Randell who gets himself caught in the whirlwinds of a zombie apocalypse whereby he loses his soul in the madness of a world gone wrong. Yet, in his most darkness moments where he is forced to fight zombies night after night for the sport of onlookers, Randell finds his destiny and it is that destiny that can set the world in balance.

I’ve been working on this story for over a year now. The first book is half way complete with over one hundred and fifty pages written. The entire arc of Randell has been mapped out throughout all the books. It’s my hope to introduce you to my zombie apocalypse and in doing so, show you naked humanity in the sea of the dead.

Let’s enjoy the ride together.
